In 1977, Maria and Alois Horngacher established their family business and laid the cornerstone for today’s Hotel Hexenalm. Back then, under the name “Schirast” and with 15 guest rooms, the hotel already enjoyed great popularity when, in 2000, the next generation took the helm, with Reinhard, Karin and their children Laura and Lukas.
Over the years, we’ve continually undertaken comprehensive alteration and renovation works to guarantee you the best quality holiday. So not only our newly renovated rooms, but since 2002 also our restaurant with bar and since 2005 our wellness oasis provide you with even more holiday comfort. In 2014, we grew with the purchase of the Hotel Tulpe and transformed it into the Hotel Hexenblick.

In addition to a stay in the freshly renovated and expanded Hotel Hexenalm holiday resort, we also offer spacious holiday apartments in the Hexenzeit as well as in the Thurnerhof. Our Hexe family is completed by our hotel’s restaurant with rustic bar and our sun terrace with playground for the little Hexe friends.
